So we’re still riding the buzz from our show at the Middle East in Boston last Thursday night. Today, Boston University’s student run magazine, The Quad, ran a really nice review of the show. Check it out here. Also, our good friend Cordelia managed to snap this picture while we were backstage. They may be dirty, but those bathrooms in the back of clubs can sure look nice.

Back from bean town and oh it felt so nice. Our first excursion to the area was a pleasure. The lineup of acts was eclectic and intriguing, bringing different sonic landscapes to the stage at The Middle East Upstairs. The audience, filled with new ears, were welcoming and enthusiastic, making us feel right at home in a town not our own. We hope to see you all again real soon.
Below is the second video update from the Ishmael camp, with shots taken at our new favorite spot in Cambridge. Jordan shares his thoughts on the music of Ishmael as we take the chilled night air before our set.
There will be more fun stuff for us to share with you coming real soon, so be sure to check back.
Love, peace, and chicken grease.

Hello everybody! We are getting real excited for our show at the Middle East this Thursday night. Our dear friend, Steff Yotka, made up a dashing poster for the show. Thanks Steff!
We are also really excited to be playing with this band, Glass America. They seem to be a really cool post-rock prog band, which seems right up our ally. If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, which I know sounds crazy, you can pick them up online at TicketWeb.
Also in the works is a really big show at Wesleyan University. We’ll keep you guys posted on this one. Get excited!
